Unfortunately I don't think that law makers have in their minds just to "protect" non smokers from us.
I fear that they want to make us quit not only smoking but any form of tobacco use.
They put an indirect (and very annoying) pressure to us by allowing us to buy
tobacco products but eliminating one after the other the places where we can smoke and
by trying to make us feel embarassed for our perfectly legal and tax-paying habit...

I don't like to continiously be on the defense when I decide to consume
a perfectly legal product that fills with gold the state coffers.

Governments collect too much tax from tobaccos and tobacco related products. I don't believe that the new laws will limit the tobacco consume. As you said; what we are doing is not illegal and we're not a part of a crime. I don't understand their aim, they say this laws are the part of laws while we're trying to be a part of EU. If they collect tax and sell tobacco pruducts they have to give us some respects as they're trying to show to non-smokers.
