Αντιγραφω ενα μικρο βιογραφικο του Kovalev απο σκανδιναβικο πιπομαγαζο:

After graduation of medical university in 1995, Roman Kovalev spent 16 years working as child neurologist. At the same time he got fond of pipe smoking. For a long time he lost himself in pipe collecting, especially in collecting Japanese pipes. And during all this time he had some ideas about making pipes himself.
In 2008 he started his first workshop and from 2010 he took position as a full time pipe maker. Presently he is living and working in St. Petersburg. He makes 6-8 pipes a month. He is highly inspired with varieties of forms we can meet in nature. He is also paying a lot of time to make new polymer materials in combination with different woods, minerals, etc and introduce it to pipe making. He is making pipes of both briar and strawberry tree.
