I will probably be in Athens in about a week with a friend, if I can't come my friend certainly will.

What I wanna ask is if I can find good pipe tobacco in Athens? Maybe a place to buy bulk tobacco? Selection is really limited in Turkey; some aromatics and 2 Turkish blends only. Do Greece have good pipe tobacco or do we share the same fate here too?

I will go to Delos and Delphi too but I don't think I can find tobacco there.

we are in the same fate here, too if not in a worse one.
Pipe tobacco is really expensive here cause of the taxes.

Well, only 2 turkish blends are sold here in shops. Other aromatics are sold "under the counter". 50gr pouches are about 15 lira/7-8 euro.

Are there any tobacconists in Greece selling bulk/open tobacco?

Unfortunately there is no bulk/open tobacco in Athens or another place in Greece. And the choices of tin or pouches are very few. I wish you Happy Holidays in beautiful Greece

The prices are high. The Larsens are close to 50 euros for a 100 gr tin. Yes the prices are high Confused

You can find Scandinavik - Borkum Riff - Mac Barren for close to 10 euros though.
