O John Calich υπήρξε ένας εκ των κορυφαίων Καναδών κατασκευαστών πίπας. Κυρίως έμεινε πιστός σε κλασικά σχέδια και ιδιαίτερο χαρακτηριστικό της εργασίας του είναι το ότι στις πίπες του του άρεσε να σμίγει το λείο με το ρουστίκ. Εργάστηκε ως κατασκευαστής γιά 40 χρόνια. Ο John Calich άφησε τον μάταιο τούτο κόσμο το 2008.

Κριμα. Εχει μερικες καλες παντως,το κλασσικο σε γενικες γραμμες ειναι πολυ "καλο".
