O Ray (Reiichi) Kurusu γεννήθηκε και διαμένει στην Osaka.
Tο 2011 γνώρισε τον Hiroyuki Tokutomi και έγινε μαθητής του.
Είναι θαυμαστής των Bo Nordh-Jon Micke,Chonowistch,Tokutomi, Gotoh,
Starkov,Revyagin kai Asteriou.
Tις καλύτερες πίπες του (1-2 τον χρόνο) τις μαρκάρει ΟWL.

Οφείλω να γράψω για την δουλειά του Ray, ότι είναι από τους καλύτερους και πιο επίμονους κατασκευαστές στο φινίρισμα.

Απο κοντά οι πίπες του είναι πολύ εντυπωσιακές.
